iPhone 4 jailbreak/unlock progress

First off, check my channel and watch the video about the iphone 4 jailbreak problems!! Some distrubing things came up in an interview with an apple employee! Basically it is going to be 10X harder to jailbreak the iphone 4 based on these summed up issues:
1. Apple programed the phone to check it's baseband every 2 weeks. If it is not on AT&T it locks itself up!
2. Along with that it can check to see if it is jailbroken. If it is Apple is notified and they instantly void your warrenty. In a recent twitter post though muscle nerd said they might have found a clever way around these checks! Lets hope so!

IPhone Pre-order problems

An influx of customers attempting to preorder the next-generation iPhone resulted in issues with Apple's online store and forced the company to temporarily reject callers to its 800 number on Tuesday.

Demand for iPhone 4 was so high that Apple began rejecting callers from its 800-MY-APPLE number.

"Thank you for calling Apple," a voice told callers Tuesday morning. "Due to extremely high call volumes, we are unable to answer your call at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try your call again later. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future."

Problems arose on Apple's website with the eligibility check for existing AT&T customers. Many who attempted to preorder iPhone 4 on Tuesday morning encountered a screen that read "Your request couldn't be processed. We're sorry, but there was an error processing your request. Please try again later."

Server problems even resulted in crashes for the new Apple Store application for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The software, released on Tuesday, was touted as an application that would allow users to preorder iPhone 4 from their current iPhone.

Many users who attempted to preorder using the new application found the software stuck at a "Processing" screen when attempting to check eligibility for an upgrade. The application would freeze on the screen until crashing back to the iPhone's home screen.

Issues even extended to AT&T's website, where error messages informed customers that the site was not currently available. AT&T is the exclusive wireless carrier of the iPhone in the U.S. The company's online site, along with Apple's, was also plagued by slow speeds due to high demand for iPhone 4.

Apple's next-generation phone is set to launch next week, on June 24. Preorders began as expected on Tuesday, as Apple said they would last week when Chief Executive Steve Jobs formally introduced iPhone 4. The new device includes a high-resolution Retina Display, and a forward-facing camera for FaceTime video chat over Wi-Fi.

While online and phone orders were a problem in some areas, customers were forced to wait in line to preorder in Tokyo, Japan, where there is no online ordering available.

iPhone on Verizon?

Some people may have heard the rumor that Verizon may be adopting the iPhone. This rumor has been reoccurring since back around 2007. So do you think it could happen?

First off, why in 2007, when the iPhone made its first appearance, was it only on AT&T. Well Apple has said that they had signed a five year exclusive agreement stating that only AT&T was allowed to carry there phone. So then, why are there so many rumors?

With the release of the Android phone, the iPhone is getting knocked off the charts. The Android has already sold more phones on its operating system than the Apple iPhone operating system, and this is not something Apple will forget about. Also past records have shown that phones exclusive to only one carrier had exponential growth when opened up to other carriers. The only problem is no one know the exact details on the agreement between Apple and AT&T.

I can tell you this though. This new rumor has been confirmed to be false. Verizon CEO stated that it does not see the iPhone coming to Verizon in the “near future.” So could that mean that we could see it on Verizon soon? We’ll just wait till the new rumors come out.

Apple iPad News Update

As you all already know, the iPad was released on April 3rd of 2010. Many people were skeptical on how it would do in the market. Some people claimed it to just be the bigger brother of the iPod Touch and expected to see it fail. Well it’s my pleasure to say your wrong!

On May 31st Apple announced that in only 2 months the iPad has been out it has reached over 2 million sales. They have began shipping this product to places like Australia and Canada (and more) and are planning on releasing it to more countries later this year.

In its short life developers have already created over 5,000 apps specifically designed for iPad, not to mention the other 200,000 it can already play. The iPad allows user to connect to friends over many social networking sites, browse the web, enjoy an eBook, watch videos on its 9.7 inch screen or just listen to music. This device has another great feature; it can deliver up to 10 hours of usage on just one charge! The iPad comes out to be a mix between an iPod and an iMac.
